Our room at Pomelo Homestay had a balcony with beautiful lake views. It made our mornings feel so relaxed and peaceful! The shared bathroom was fully equipped and had a bidet. They even provided free toiletries! It added a touch of convenience to our stay. The twin room we stayed in was cozy and had all the essentials. We loved having a balcony, electric kettle, and air conditioning at our disposal. Some units even had a patio, which we found to be a great spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
Personally, we didn't enjoy one particular feature: the shared bathroom. However, we understand that others may still find it perfectly fine.

Our stay at this homestay was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the friendly staff and their willingness to help us with anything we needed. The pool was a dream, and having our own bungalow made us feel like VIPs. The fact that we could borrow peddle bikes to explore the town was a game-changer. The owner was so accommodating, allowing us to hang out by the pool while we waited for our night bus. this homestay provided an unforgettable experience and we are so grateful for the brilliant stay!

We had an incredible stay at this gem of a homestay! The bungalow's wooden interior was absolutely stunning and the new air conditioning kept us cool throughout our stay. The owner and his brother went above and beyond with their hospitality, even picking us up in the middle of the night and taking us to Paradise cave before the crowds arrived. The food was delicious and the beds were super comfy. The staff were so helpful, driving us to the pharmacy when we were ill and even arranging transportation for our early morning departure. The homestay offered breathtaking views and was just a short walk to many great restaurants and attractions. We had a blast exploring the area on the free bikes provided. this place was a dream come true and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

Stayed at a place with a glorified water park and a garden. Ate a mediocre continental breakfast every morning. Had a blast splashing around in the pool.
Water park wasn't up to my refined standards.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Pomelo Homestay in Phong Nha on a business trip. The hotel was chosen by my director, and I must say it was a great choice. The highlight of my stay was definitely the outdoor swimming pool and garden. It was such a refreshing experience to be able to relax by the pool and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the garden provided a peaceful atmosphere to unwind after a long day. the amenities at Pomelo Homestay were impressive and made my stay even more enjoyable.
As for the cons, there was one minor issue that we encountered during our stay.

the owner's friendliness and the welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The clean and basic room had everything we needed and the peaceful rural setting allowed us to relax and rest. The home-cooked meals were delicious and the availability of bikes and scooters made it easy to explore Phong Nha and the Natural Park.
Limited English proficiency of the staff.
